The curriculum registry items rapid implementation spreadsheet has also been updated to include the time zone column for course schedule meetings. This means that you can always know the time zone the course schedule meeting has been scheduled in, unlike at present. This is replaced by the new time zone field on the meeting details page. Note that the user regional preference time zone is no longer considered when creating course schedule meetings. It is null for any course schedule meetings created before release 21B. A new time zone prompt is added to the course schedule meetings page. This is only required to be run for existing course schedule meeting details created prior to release 21B. Step 3 – Update Course Schedule Time Zones You can add any other time zones that your institution supports for course schedule meetings. You must select at least one time zone as the default. You can use this time zone as your default, although you can change this later. When you enter the page (having setup the FND_TIMEZONE in step 1), you are prompted to add that time zone here to the Manage Time Zone Settings page. Step 2 – Configure Manage Time Zones Settings Profile Value = Customer Default Time Zone, for example, US Pacific Time.Navigation: Setup and Maintenance>Search>Manage Administrator Profile Values.You should first ensure that you have an FND_TIMEZONE site profile code configured: Step 1 – Configure FND_TIMEZONE Site Profile Code Note: It’s essential that you carry out these steps on all environments where you have existing course schedule meeting information created prior to release 21B.
